Texas Rangers and Tickets.com do the “Texas 2 Step” signing second Multi-year Ticketing Agreement

First deal signed in 1999; extension provides Texas Rangers, Resistol Arena and Legends of the Game Museum with innovative hosted-services ticketing solution
COSTA MESA, CA – February 5, 2007 – Hicks Sports Group, LLC and Tickets.com, Inc. a leading provider of integrated ticket solutions, announced today they have renewed a long-term ticketing agreement for the Texas Rangers and Mesquite Championship Rodeo. In this unique ticketing agreement, the Rangers will manage all of their offline distribution outlets while Tickets.com will host the ticketing application and online ticketing through texasrangers.com. This relationship allows the Rangers to select the local and national services they need while assuring themselves high reliability and ongoing innovation in their ticketing operations.

In addition to providing the Rangers with its ticketing software and hardware, the agreement allows Tickets.com to provide the ticketing system to the Mesquite Championship Rodeo at Resistol Arena and the Legends of the Game Museum at Ameriquest Field in Arlington. The Mesquite Rodeo, founded in 1958 as a permanent rodeo in Mesquite, Texas, is one of the largest rodeos in Texas and boasts attendance in excess of 200,000 each season. The event is celebrating its 49th season and brings champion bull riders, cowgirl barrel racers, high-flying bronco riders and more cowboy contestants from across the country.

Legends of the Game Museum, located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex at Ameriquest Field in Arlington, is an exciting, interactive, and educational glimpse into America's pastime. Legends of the Game Museum features the largest collection of baseball-related artifacts outside of Cooperstown, and has both a museum and an event theater available for fans, groups and special events.

“We have enjoyed our partnership with Tickets.com over the past 8 years as we have worked together to introduce and improve our online ticketing platform,” said Texas Rangers President Jeff Cogen. “We are excited about introducing ticket kiosks to provide another convenient way for Rangers fans to select their seats and streamline the game day experience.”

“Hicks Sports Group was an early adopter of our technology because they wanted to deliver new and innovative ticketing services and great customer service to their fans”, said Andy Donkin, co-President of Tickets.com. “We appreciate the confidence the Hicks Sports Group has shown in us, and we will continue to build out new features like Rangers Replay Ticket Window that will help build a loyal fan base and keep Rangers and Rodeo fans connected to the events they love to watch.”

Single-game tickets for the 2007 Texas Rangers season go on sale Friday, March 2. Fans can go to texasrangers.com to purchase tickets or call 817-273-5100. The Mesquite Rodeo runs from April 7 to September 30 in 2007, and tickets will be on sale at the Resistol Arena box office, mesquiterodeo.com or 972-222-BULL (2855).
