The company enables its clients to capture, access and own consumer data through ticket sales, providing them with a 360° view of the buying habits and preferences of their fans and patrons to enhance their marketing efforts.

The company offers products under its ProVenue® product suite with licensed products working in conjunction with the state-of the-art ProVenueOnline® ticketing engine, which enables the latest digital ticketing functions including Tickets@Home®, Tickets@Phone (ticket delivery to mobile phones), automated kiosks and Access Control.

Combining industry expertise with advanced ticketing technology, Tickets.com has the capability to handle such high demand events as the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup Football, as well as the diverse needs of museums, fairs, festivals, casinos, theme parks, performing arts venues, and other professional sports organisations.

Tickets.com was incorporated in 1995 and went public in 1999. A year before the IPO, the company embarked on an aggressive mergers and acquisitions strategy, combining the strength and knowledge gained through merging nine ticketing companies and seven software platforms into a single entity. The acquisitions were completed in 2000, and a year later the company was rebranded under the Tickets.com name. In 2005, MLB Advanced Media, LP, the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball, purchased all outstanding shares of Tickets.com stock. Upon completion of the acquisition, Tickets.com became a privately held subsidiary of MLB Advanced Media.

The company’s products, combined with a commitment to developing the latest ticketing technology, are driving Tickets.com’s growth. Under new executive management brought in by MLB Advanced Media, Tickets.com achieved its first profitable year in 2006.

The company provides its ticketing solutions and services to thousands of top worldwide entertainment and sports venues. Tickets.com is headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, and has regional hub offices in Concord, California, Syracuse, New York, Meriden, Connecticut and Madison, Wisconsin. Tickets.com also has international offices in Australia and the UK, which provide sales, support and technical services, with additional ticket sales offices in The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Hong Kong and Singapore.
