• Standard parallel port or USB port for ticket printer if applicable

• 9-pin serial port for cash drawer if applicable
• 9-pin serial port or USB port for Chip & PIN terminal if applicable
• 100/1000 Mbps network interface cards

Network Specification/Requirements

• Minimum infrastructure to CAT 5 specification
• Minimum bandwidth required is 100 mbps to each network outlet.
• All network switches to be supplied and installed by the customer and should run at 100 mbps minimum bandwidth on all ports including up-links to other switches.
• Your network compliance test results to be available for inspection upon request.
• All patch cords and network cabling to be provided by the customer. Tickets.com engineers do not carry any spare network cables at installation time irrespective of whether or not we are supplying the hardware.

Please note:

• Any hardware items supplied by us will come complete with all the necessary cables EXCEPT for network patch chords and fly leads.
• Remote access is required for support purposes. Ideally this will be achieved via a broadband or leased line internet connection (with access through your firewall).

Windows DATA or File Servers

• Standard Server for up to 4 users and up to 5 Terminal Services Connections:
• Single 3.0 GHz Xeon Processor
• Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition server operating system
  If this is your license server, you must have 1 Client Access License (CAL) for each client workstation - minimum purchase is 5 CALS then you can buy in singles. If you intend to access your system remotely then you will also need 1 Terminal Services Client Access License for each remote connection - minimum purchase is 5 TCALS then you can buy in singles.

• DVD Drive (writer) plus writing software
• Redundant Power Supply
• RAID controller
• 2 x 72.8 GB 10k HDD configured: 2 x mirrored set for OS and data backup for OS on 10 GB partition with the rest for data
• Backup device with at least 10 media and one cleaning tape
• 9-pin serial or USB port needed for UPS dependant upon UPS interface
• USB port for license dongle
• Standard parallel port or USB port for printer if applicable
• 100/1000 Mbps network interface cards
• Suitable UPS to provide up to 30 minutes of backup power and a controlled shutdown of the server in the event of mains failure.
