ProVenue Onsite Training FAQs

Q: How does onsite training work?
A: The training will be delivered at the client’s location.  The participants should make arrangements for training to be held in a quiet area, with minimal interruptions or distractions.  Training occurs on your system, using your data; thus access to workstations and the server running ProVenue is required.  Training can consist of one topic or a series of topics to address all of your departmental needs.  Each session can be delivered to one or more groups or several sessions can be held for each different department to meet all of your organization’s needs.  Each session can be delivered as a standard offering or customized by deleting or re-organizing session content.  A ProVenue® Trainer will bring everything to your location on a schedule that meets your needs.

Q: What’s the typical class size?
A: No matter what size group you need to train, we’ll develop a solution that fits your needs perfectly.  We typically provide onsite training for both small (3-7) and large (8-14) groups.  But, we can usually accommodate additional students for a small fee per person.  The fee will vary based on the class duration and complexity.

Q: How does Tickets.com prepare its ProVenue® Trainers?
A: Our ProVenue® Trainers have demonstrated a mastery of the subject matter they are training.  Additionally, they must go through a rigorous process to hone their training skills.  This process includes supervised practice training sessions and onsite live observations.

Q: How much “face-time” will we get with a ProVenue® Trainer?
A: This varies by client, but most training sessions occur 9am-5pm each day, with an hour break for lunch.

Q: Does the trainer set up the hardware for the training session?
A: As a general rule, no.  We ask each client to install ProVenue®  on the workstation where training will occur.  Only one person can interact with the data at a time, so the best practice is to project the screen onto a projection screen or wall.  If you cannot accommodate a projector set-up, just let us know and we’ll provide the projector.
