Tickets.com Selected as USL’s Official Ticketing Provider

Landmark partnership will see all independent USL League One clubs utilize the platform in addition to USL Championship clubs

TAMPA, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced on Wednesday it has entered a landmark multi-year partnership with Tickets.com to become the Official Ticketing Provider to the USL Championship and USL League One. The service also becomes the newest member of the USL’s Preferred Supplier Program.

“Having Tickets.com as our first national ticketing provider is a tremendous opportunity for the USL, our professional clubs, and most importantly, our fans,” said USL Chief Operating Officer Justin Papadakis. “Our guiding light throughout this process has been to provide the best possible fan experience and this national partnership with Tickets.com is a big step in the right direction.”

A multinational organization based in Costa Mesa, California, Tickets.com has offices in Australia and Western Europe and is the USL’s first national ticketing partner. Four USL Championship clubs are currently on the platform, including 2019 expansion clubs El Paso Locomotive FC and Memphis 901 FC, and in a groundbreaking initiative, all independent USL League One clubs will utilize the Tickets.com platform, which will be supported by the league.

Through Tickets.com, clubs will have access to the ProVenue® technology platform, enabling widespread integration for crossover marketing and promotional opportunities. The landmark technology allows teams to have access to universal ticketing technology and customer experience data, providing access to untapped business potential to drive meaningful fan experiences.

Tickets to West Coast Spring Events and Texas Outlaw Nationals on sale this Week

CONCORD, NC — Dec. 17, 2018 — The World of Outlaws and Tickets.com have partnered to launch an entirely new online ticketing platform in dirt track racing, and on Tuesday the 2019 season will begin to unfold as tickets for events through mid-April go on sale at WorldofOutlaws.com. Better yet, with Tickets.com Print-At-Home technology, the World of Outlaws just made your last-minute holiday shopping that much easier!

Tickets.com will power a technology platform featuring digital ticketing options never seen before in dirt racing. In addition to Print-At-Home options, fans can also have their tickets scanned on mobile devices at the gate, and in case weather strikes and a race is canceled the functionality to process refunds will be much quicker than ever before.

Starting Tuesday, events available at WorldofOutlaws.com include the DIRTcar Nationals Feb. 5-16 at Volusia Speedway Park, races in Texas Feb. 22-23 at Cotton Bowl Speedway and LoneStar Speedway, the California swing beginning March 15 at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico followed by the FVP Platinum Battery Western Spring Shootout at the Stockton Dirt Track, the 49er Gold Rush Classic presented by Riebes NAPA at Placerville Speedway, the Ocean Outlaw Showdown at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, and races at Calistoga Speedway, Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford and Perris Auto Speedway.

Tickets for back-to-back nights in Arizona April 5-6 at USA Raceway in Tucson and Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek also go on sale, as will the Texas Outlaw Nationals at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, where the Outlaws were born in 1978.

In addition, tickets for the new Music City Outlaw Nationals at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in Tennessee are already available for purchase.

Then, in January, tickets to most of the remaining events will become available.

Tickets.com renewed its partnership for 2019 with Speedway of Nations where the mobile-focused MyProVenue™ ticketing technology platform will support one of speedway’s biggest competitions in the United Kingdom, when the Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations returns to the National Speedway Stadium in May. Tickets.com UK will once again support the ticketing for one of speedway’s biggest competitions, when the Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations returns to the National Speedway Stadium in May.

Managed by BSI Speedway, the annual event sees 15 national team battle it out across two Race Offs in the build up to the Grand Final, where the winners will be crowned Speedway of Nations Champions.

2019 marks a return to the National Speedway Stadium in Manchester for the competition, where seven nations will take part in Race Off 2 on May 11. All tickets will be processed via ProVenue®, Tickets.com’s most advanced ticketing platform, and Tickets.com will also manage all fulfilment for the event. Fans will also be able to choose Tickets@Home as a delivery method across all sales channels, with tickets available online, face-to-face or via phone.

Ticketing Technology Company Becomes First Provider to Make Google Pay Integration Accessible to Patrons in the Asia-Pacific Region

T.Cares Provides a Global Foundation for Giving Back

Tickets.com UK staff supports local community project launch

Tickets.com employees continue to embrace the mission and vision behind the T.Cares community outreach program. In September, staff from the Tickets.com UK office volunteered at Unity Park and the Mac Garden at Milton Keynes Hospital.

As part of the global T.Cares initiative, Tickets.com employees seek to support the communities where they work and live – from charity fundraising and community service to creating unforgettable experiences for individuals and families around the world.

Milton Keynes’ Winter Night Shelter at Unity Park Station is one of the latest opportunities to support the T.Cares mission. Milton Keynes Bus Station, Unity Park is a welcome center for local homeless people that provides hot drinks and snacks, before transporting them to supervised overnight accommodations.

In September, Tickets.com personnel visited the center and helped prepare Unity Park Station ahead of the opening of its new facility – which will offer daytime welfare, shower and washing facilities. The team supported the initiative by painting, cleaning and other hands-on tasks to get the space ready.

Donna Elliott, Project Coordinator at Unity Park, said: “We would like to say a huge thanks to the staff who came and helped us with the mammoth task of completing the paint work and getting the place ready for the venue users. We were blown away with the team’s willingness to work and I’d like to thank Tickets.com again on behalf of the many building users who will be carrying out important work with the homeless, vulnerable and those with mental health challenges.”

The Tickets.com team also recently took time out to volunteer at Milton Keynes Hospital’s Mac Garden, a site run by the Milton Keynes Cancer Patient Partnership (MKCPP).

MKCPP is a charitable organization that works together with cancer patients, health professionals and other cancer-related groups and charities to provide patients and care-givers with the best possible experience throughout the cancer journey.

The Mac Garden is just one of a number of spaces maintained by the charity and the team from Tickets.com worked with MKCPP’s Jaff Newton to provide some much-needed assistance to the garden.

“I’d like to say a really big thank you to everyone at Tickets.com for all their hard work in the garden,” said Newton. “It will certainly last for months to come and will be ideal for the hosting events where staff, patients and visitors can enjoy being in the garden. I can’t wait to see it all in full bloom!”

T.Cares Delivers Unforgettable Experience For Baseball Fan

Boston Red Sox fans have experienced an unforgettable season in which the iconic franchise set a new record for wins en route to the American League East title. For one special fan on one September day, the Red Sox and Fenway Park experience became memorable in ways he never dreamed. As part of the T.Cares community outreach program, Tickets.com worked closely with the Red Sox to customize a once-in-a-lifetime game day experience for an inspirational 18-year-old, Evan Wallace.

This young man, who also serves as Shriners 2018 patient ambassador at the Shriners Hospital – Boston, was born with a severe cleft lip and palate and has undergone several major surgeries throughout his lifetime, including a successful bone graft to reconstruct his mouth. While recovering and on a “blender food only” diet, Evan created a cookbook with nutritional and enjoyable recipes that has since helped many patients going through similar treatment, underscoring his on-going commitment to helping others.

On that September day, Evan and his family sat in Fenway Park’s second row to see his favorite team Red Sox take on the divisional rival Toronto Blue Jays®. Prior to the game, the entire family joined the Red Sox on the field for pre-game ceremonies, which were highlighted by Evan delivering the game ball and rosin bag to the pitcher’s mound in front of more than 30,000 fans.

Just like the game itself, Evan’s experience was only beginning. During the game, Evan and his family were welcomed with a special video message on the Fenway Park videoboard and JD Martinez, right fielder for the Red Sox, tossed Evan a game-used baseball during the fourth inning.

The game ended with another Red Sox victory, but this day’s experience, specially designed by the Red Sox and Tickets.com, had meaning beyond the final score. A program like T.Cares was established to provide a platform for this. On that one day in September, the partners honored Evan’s inspiring commitment to using the challenges he’s faced to build a community of positivity and support for those in similar circumstances.

Elizabeth Fisher, Manager of Marketing and Communications for the Boston Shriners Hospital explains what this experience means for young people like Evan: “We are so grateful to Tickets.com and the Red Sox for this opportunity. Initiatives like T.Cares help us provide our brave young patients with some brief respite from what they are facing day-to-day, and there is no better testament of our work than to see our patients out in the community, enjoying experiences that they will never forget. Evan is a wonderful ambassador of our hospital and we are thrilled he had this opportunity.”
