An Insider’s Look at Opening Day

In what is a holiday of sorts for many, Major League Baseball Opening Day arrived amid festive environments that in some areas subjugated the weather. is very pleased to have worked closely with our clubs to ensure that their fans effortlessly entered the ballparks with mobile devices, fan loyalty cards, Tickets@Home printouts, and traditional printed tickets. Months of planning and preparation–including season rollovers and invoicing, special offer preparation, venue modifications, event configuration, system user reviews, reporting parameter analyses, best-practices assessments, staff training, stored-value alignment and access control testing–culminated in early April with the sound of nearly a million “go” beeps emanating from access control scanners and turnstiles across the country. We tip our hats to all those involved in getting our National Pastime off to a great start!
