The Baltimore Orioles are Back on Base with Tickets.com Technology

Baltimore, MD November 15th, 2021 – It’s official, the Baltimore Orioles (Orioles) are back with Tickets.com for a multi-year agreement at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.  The Orioles have announced Tickets.com is back on the roster for ticketing. Previously the Orioles worked with Tickets.com from the 2013 Baseball Season through the conclusion of the 2018 season.

“The Orioles are excited to once again partner with Tickets.com to provide fans with a streamlined and user-friendly ticket-managing experience,” said T.J. Brightman, Orioles Senior Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer. “Oriole Park at Camden Yards is one of the premier entertainment destinations in the region, and we are looking forward to further enhancing the ballpark experience through this partnership with Tickets.com.”

“We are thrilled to be brought back as the official ticketing software provider for the Baltimore Orioles,” Joe Choti, President and CEO, Tickets.com.

Oriole Park powered by ProVenue

The Orioles will be operating on the Tickets.com suite of ticketing software, including the ProVenue® platform, a full-service integrated ticketing solution designed to enable ticket sales and capture and optimize fan data.

In addition, the Orioles will be showcasing their club brand to fans utilizing MyProVenue™, the fan-facing web application, entirely devoted to optimizing the fan desktop and mobile ticketing experience.  The intuitive interface streamlines the actions of buying tickets and managing their account, all within a responsive framework that works flawlessly on any device.  MyProVenue focuses on the baseball fan experience, providing a higher level of flexibility and usability compared to traditional e-commerce platforms.

Alfred™

To complete the digital ticketing experience, the Orioles will be utilizing Alfred, the all-in-one access control solution from Tickets.com.  Alfred validates tickets and works seamlessly with the ProVenue back-office solution for reporting, and detailed fan entry data.

Additionally, Alfred deployed on Janam’s XT3 handheld scanners expedites venue entry and enables frictionless transactions for fans and box office staff.  Janam Technologies, the leading provider of contactless venue access solutions, provides the most proven handheld scanners for venue access and its flagship XT3 supports the most advanced “tap-and-go” Near Field Communications (NFC) features of Apple Wallet™ & Google Pay™ to validate traditional and digital tickets in record time.

“We are thrilled to partner with Tickets.com to deliver the most advanced digital ticketing technology for sports and live entertainment,” said Harry Lerner, CEO, Janam Technologies. “Smaller, lighter, faster and more affordable than other ticketing solutions, Janam’s scanners provide professional sports teams like The Orioles with a safe, secure and easy-to-use device to speed entry and future-proof their investment with a solution that seamlessly integrates with other venue access solutions.”
