The Technology Partner event provided an opportunity to engage in discussions about the transformations NASCAR is making to improve race events, increase ticket sales, accelerate marketing efforts, and streamline operations. This inaugural event was aptly themed Technology at the Speed of NASCAR. Speakers included the entire NASCAR technology team headed up by Christine Stoffel-Moffett, Vice President, Enterprise Technology. At the event speakers shared how infrastructure and data quality and quantity have grown in every facet of the sport.
Ticketing Technology at the Speed of Nascar
With the Daytona International Speedway and the final race before the NASCAR playoffs as a back drop, the presentation showcased how access to technology and fan data are transformational in increasing personalized fan experiences and fan engagement within the sport. The ProVenue platform (the back-office ticketing solution from Tickets.com), is now parked in the NASCAR Data Garage for improved audience segmentation and the start of automated processes. NASCAR also is deep into learning from scan data provided by Alfred, Tickets.com’s custom all-in-one access control solution, to understand fan movements at events.
