Tickets.com Renews Partnership with Speedway of Nations as Competition Returns to National Speedway Stadium for 2019

Tickets.com renewed its partnership for 2019 with Speedway of Nations where the mobile-focused MyProVenue™ ticketing technology platform will support one of speedway’s biggest competitions in the United Kingdom, when the Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations returns to the National Speedway Stadium in May. Fans attending the Manchester-based competition, where seven nations will take part in Race Off 2, will utilize Tickets.com’s next-generation web application to get secure, intuitive and reliable ticketing experiences.

MyProVenue™ is fully responsive across all devices and provides fans with ticketing experiences developed for mobile device purchases and accessibilities for the Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations, including individual package additions and account preference management options through the application.

Managed by BSI Speedway, the annual event sees 15 national teams battle it out across two Race Offs in the build up to the Grand Final, where the winners will be crowned Speedway of Nations Champions.

The National Speedway Stadium is home to Speedway Great Britain Premiership club the Belle Vue Aces, who also use Tickets.com’s ProVenue® to manage all ticketing. Earlier this year, the Aces also expanded their consumer experiences by adding MyProVenue™ to enhance the club’s online ticket sales.

CEO of Belle Vue Speedway, Adrian Smith, said: “As a club, we’re delighted to welcome back such a distinguished event as the Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations to Manchester for a second consecutive year; the 2018 edition was a big event for us and Tickets.com managed it seamlessly. We have commented many times in the past on the world-class potential of the National Speedway Stadium, and it made clear its appeal to the organizers and the riders during last year’s competition.”
