Lord Mayor’s Show renews technology partnership with

The Lord Mayor’s Show, the world’s largest unrehearsed procession, has extended its technology partnership with, following 14 years working together to process all ticketing for the event.

An annual event, the Lord Mayor’s Show marks the inauguration of the new Lord Mayor of the City of London. The three-mile long ceremony dates back more than 800 years, when the City was first granted the right to elect its own Mayor. In that time, whilst the route has been adapted and changed through the years, the procession has taken place almost every year, including surviving two bouts of the plague and the Great Fire of London.

Up to 500,000 people line the streets to view the procession completely free of charge.  However, for those who would prefer a little more comfort, the event offers two grandstand seating areas near St Paul’s Cathedral, which regularly sell out.

Show Zones are also set up in nearby Paternoster Square and Bloomberg Arcade.

The procession attracts a diverse, large-scale audience and so to facilitate these unique technology and logistical requirements, The Lord’s Mayor Show works with for management of all ticketing for the grandstands, including the availability to purchase tickets online, by phone or by post.

This entire process – from orders through to fulfilment – is powered by, including staff assistance, and continues to play an important role in the successful delivery of the event.

“We’re very happy with the service that provides; the team is incredibly accommodating and well-trained, well able to support our guests with any queries they may have,” says Helen Field, Head of Business Engagement, who works with the Pageantmaster.

“Over the years the partnership has evolved into one that means is now much more than just a ticketing supplier; we get excellent feedback from our attendees and the support we receive is fantastic.”

The 2019 Lord Mayor’s Show will take place on Saturday 09 November and tickets are now on general sale. Click here to buy tickets online

Membership & Loyalty Launched in ProVenue

We’re excited to announce the introduction of Membership and Loyalty features to our ProVenue® platform, the innovative technology built by that enriches the patron experience while providing venues with new streams of revenue.

The highly anticipated features allow partner venues to reward loyal patrons and cultivate engagement beyond the live event experience.

By incentivising purchases, the Membership and Loyalty features create the foundation for repeat business, and provide venues with the ability to track and build on relationships over time. For example, a multi-level Membership programme encourages members to advance levels for acquiring additional venue-customised benefits.

To enrol members, partner venues can sell membership individually or grant it freely, either by itself or as a side-benefit for a package sale.

Using the ProVenue® Loyalty feature or a third-party solution, venues can also encourage members to earn higher levels of membership by acquiring ‘loyalty points’.

A Loyalty programme assigns point values for purchases and other activities, such as the use of a digital ticket instead of a paper ticket to enter the venue.

To motivate point accrual, venues offer rewards, such as exchanging points for a unique fan experience or merchandise, requiring a certain number of points for the opportunity to buy high-demand tickets, or requiring a certain number of points to advance to the next level of membership (from a “Silver” level to “Gold,” for example).

The power to manage Membership and Loyalty programmes directly through ProVenue® is a substantial contribution to the platform – and to the ongoing commitment to help venues create captivating patron experiences and lifelong memories.

If you would like to enable this feature, please contact the UK sales team on 01908 232 404 or at

As part of the global T.Cares initiative, employees seek to support the communities where they work and live – from charity fundraising and community service, to creating unforgettable experiences for those in need.

The UK team put forward causes close to them for future T.Cares projects and Milton Keynes’ Winter Night Shelter at Unity Park Station was chosen as one of the latest initiatives. Previously Milton Keynes Bus Station, Unity Park is a welcome centre for local homeless people that provides hot drinks and snacks, before transporting them to supervised overnight accommodation.

Donna Elliott, Project Co-ordinator at Unity Park, said: “We would like to say a huge thanks to the staff who came and helped us with the mammoth task of completing the paint work and getting the place ready for the venue users.

“We were blown away with the team’s willingness to get stuck in and I’d like to thank again on behalf of the many building users who will be carrying out important work with the homeless, vulnerable and those with mental health challenges.”

The team also recently took time out to volunteer at Milton Keynes Hospital’s Mac Garden, a site run by the Milton Keynes Cancer Patient Partnership (MKCPP).

MKCPP is a charitable organisation that works together with cancer patients, health professionals and other cancer-related groups and charities to provide patients and carers with the best possible experience throughout the cancer journey.

The Mac Garden is just one of a number of spaces maintained by the charity and the team from worked with MKCPP’s Jaff Newton to provide some much-needed TLC to the garden.

“I’d like to say a really big thank you to everyone for all their hard work in the garden,” said Jaff.

“It will certainly last for months to come and will be ideal for the hosting events where staff, patients and visitors can enjoy being in the garden. I can’t wait to see it all in full bloom!”
